Scottsdale, Ariz. - Harmony Golf Preserve, a Troon Golf®-managed facility in Orlando, Florida is pleased to announce that it will be a 2007 host site for ESPN Golf Schools. The following one-day schools will be offered for adults and juniors of all levels.

 

3-Club Tour -- Participants will be divided into groups and rotated through three different stations addressing full swing (driver), chipping and pitching (wedge), and putting drills (putter). Each station will focus on the importance of swing mechanics, club control, and body behavior. The class will also include general fundamentals such as proper posture, grip strength, alignment drills, and stretching techniques.

 

Beginners Tour -- Tailored to anyone who\'s always wanted to learn the game of golf and has never picked up a club, the Beginners Tour focuses on the basic aspects of the game, including grip, posture, scoring, etiquette and other fundamentals in a fun and non-intimidating environment. Students will receive an Ignite set of irons from Nike Golf (4-iron through Pitching Wedge), a Nike utility wood, a Nike Ignite blade putter, as well as a Nike Xtreme Sport golf bag.

 

Power Tour -- This one-day program details the four essential elements necessary for hitting the golf ball longer - as much as 25 yards longer. The key elements are Fitness/Flexibility, Custom Club Fitting, Customized Ball Prescription, and Swing Mechanics necessary for increasing club head speed. Tuition includes a Nike Sasquatch Sumo or Sumo2 driver, a dozen Nike golf balls and a power swing trainer.
